And now we see the animated debut of the Dinobots
The Autobots are worried about some tremors hitting the area. Doing a sweep reveals a hidden cavern and a bunch of dinosaur bones.
While the Decepticons stake out a hydroelectric dam, Spike takes Hound on a tour of the local history museum, where he talks about the various dinosaurs that once roamed the Earth. Hound takes some pictures and send them back to the Ark. Wheeljack and Ratchet are intrigued...
As Megatron orders an attack on the dam, Wheeljack goes and creates Grimlock, Slag, and Sludge. Their strength is incredible, but their IQ's are in the negative numbers. They prove that by trashing the base. The Autobots manage to get them under control, barely. Optimus orders them shut down.
The Decepticons attack the dam, but the Autobots are unaware as their computer was trashed by the Dinobots. Hound manages to learn about the attack and the Autobots rush to counterattack. They fare poorly as Megatron has hooked up his canon to the dam, tripling his power.
Spike manages to escape and rushes back to the Ark. Wheeljack decides this could be the redemption that the Dinobots need, so he reactivates them. The Dinobots show up and easily beat back the Decepticons. Back at the base, Optimus welcomes them to the Autobots.
Donald Glut's big follow up and a better effort I think. We see the Dinobots, although they don't have the most distinct personalities at the moment. Funny that the second Megatron falls down Starscream instantly declares himself the leader.
