Bumper
Yeah, technically not a proper Transformer but since I'm trying to do as many as I can, why not include him?
We'll start with the toy. Officially all Bumper was a Cliffjumper toy painted yellow and packaged as Bumblebee. He was originally called Bumblejumper, but the named got shortened to Bumper. Aside from that, Bumper is just a standard Cliffjumper with all the posibility that implies.
No file card on this one, but some unofficial ones cast Bumper as being younger than Bumblebee and usually acting as a strategist.
He was never featured in the Marvel comics, but starting in the Dreamwave series Bumper would usually be cast as a background character. Dreamwave seemed to be setting him as a traitor, but with the company's closing we'll likely never know. IDW brought him, first as a causality then later as a spy for the Autobots.
Despite all that, he was never used in the cartoons. Still, not a bad run for a glorified factory mistake.
