Skipping the first story in this issue, as it features the return of the Weaponers. Here, we see Hal facing a real dilemma-head trauma.
Yeah, while being pressured by Carol to marry him (it's a Leap Year thing), Hal opts to creature a monster to run amuck and fight thus giving him an excuse to leave. It's only when a child's toy plane knocks him out that things so screwy. Children's toys back in 1960 being made of solid lead apparently.
Interesting, I mean the monster doesn't seem awful. The fact that the ring can create fully sentient creatures is something that might warrant a serious conversation at some point.
