More Forbidden Planet type foes this time out. On the planet Aku, the world is in peril! The inhabitants found the secret to immortality. They just sleep and let machines take care of all their needs.
Also, as they sleep their bodies create mental phantom versions of themselves to run the place. Ibr in particular is rather angry and seems to be composed of the real Ibr's dark side, so much so he plots to destroy the sleeping Akuians.
Wouldn't that make that suicide of some sort?
Thankfully Hal is here to save the day. He also creates multiple delicates of himself, which from what we've seen are fully alive beings, but I guess they don't count? The story lurches from Forbidden Planet to more Romeo and Juliet but a happy ending all around, even if Carol is convinced that Hal is a spy.
