I suppose the real villain here would be Hal. Yeah, seems Hal has a weird dream where his friend Tom gets turned into a bird via his power ring. The ring hears these thoughts and figures, 'eh, why not?' so Tom awakes to find himself a seagull.
And wouldn't you know, Tom's girlfriend Terga is coming to town! No sooner does Hal get on her plane than 3 dudes opt to hijack it! Hal tries to be a hero but sadly gets a bump on the head (by flying straight into a seat that was straight in front of him) so thus he is out cold.
Thankfully Tom is able to bust through the plane's glass and wake Hal up.
Pretty bland, all things considered and honestly we could have done without them. We already had Tom being turned into a bird. Isn't that dramatic enough?
