Bit silly; the first yarn in this issue featured Sinestro so we'll focus on the backup. Hal has a hot date with Carol Ferris, but wouldn't you know it, he lost his ring!
Yeah, while stopping at a florist, the Power Ring slipped out of his pocket, where a small child picks it up. The kid then promptly falls into a pit and somehow lacks the will to escape. Hal leaves the date and searches the ring, but he finds Ralph and Bandy instead. Thankfully the kid chucks the ring to him, and the tides are quickly turned.
Ok, with soap opera shenanigans aplenty but Hal doesn't come across as the best here.
