Odd man, just odd.
Hal just straight up gets kidnapped. It seems in the year 5700 AD, the Earth is imperiled! Giant salamanders, who have been living up the ground for ages, are finally matured their power and now they are shrinking people left and right.
So naturally the only thing to do kidnap the Green Lantern and brainwash him into thinking he's a space jockey named Pol Manning. They also give him a girlfriend, Iona Vane, secretary to the High Council of Star City.
Not creepy at all, no...
Regardless of this nonsense Hal manages to free all the folks and stop the lizards. Just a story that raises more questions.
