Sammi wakes up and prepares for her day. Pity that her uncle is still in the bathroom. He berates his lazy nephew, telling Sammi to hurry up and shower and shave...although he finds it odd that Sammi isn't shaving, or showing any facial hair at all really.
Sammi insists she's just a slow starter and quickly kicks her uncle out, cursing her father the whole while. She gets a ride from Lendo to school, but he sticks his foot in his mouth one too many times, causing her to walk.
At school, Ichi helps her with her homework, but Sandy interrupts, which quickly brings Diane into the fray. Ichi tries to intervene, but Diane brings up the matter of Ichi's tryout. Yeah, it's going to involve Sammi.
The fight occurs, secrets are revealed, and many hammers are used. Lendo is used mostly as comic relief here, but the big Ichi fight? Doesn't even happen, so the whole thing does feel like a waste.
