As Jeremy and Ichi rush off to class, Asrial lags behind. She doesn't technically have to take classes, but as she wants something to do so she starts scanning the school's bulletin board.
That's when the explosion happens.
Ms. Celande's to blame though. It seems the copier is on the fritz, and the school can't afford to replace or repair. Asrial figures she can take a crack at it. One montage later, she's got it purring like a kitten.
As she leaves, Jeremy pops in to make some copies from a book. He keeps the lid up so as not damage the book, but he is knocked back by the copier's flash. Coming to, he finds the book copied. The copies aren't perfect though, but he figures that isn't his problem.
That is until another Jeremy pops up, then another, and another, and another...
Darn funny, heard this was based on an episode of Urusei Yatsura but I wouldn't swear to it.
