In which we learn some important dates in the life of Professor Steamhead.
October 10, 1938-In which the professor is officially made a US citizen; also that he loves using steam to gather uncanceled stamps.
November 11, 1940-In which the professor quits his job, mostly due to his genius being underappreciated, and his refusal to take a backseat to anyone else's research. He is offered a job by the US Army, which he initially refuses at least until he learns that Karl has very busy working for the Axis. He changes his mind on the spot.
April 17, 1943-In which the professor meets Professor Beanhead for the first time.
October 22, 1959-In which the professor, hiking in the Balkans, searches for zetranite and finds a cavern full of monsters. He is put to the test by Count Boscoe. He passes, and meets Arnie's Big Brother.
October 2, 1961-At a meeting of the Earth Defense League, the annual grant and award is Dr. Weed Wichards, who plans to launch a rocket to the moon and expose everyone inside to cosmic rays. Steamhead calls this plan insane and storms out. He bumps into his new research assistant, Terry. He also locks her into a tube and exposes her to steam, turning her into Robo-Terry.
July 16, 1966-in which Steamhead accepts a teaching position at Quagmire High School and meets Bob Feeble.
September 1, 1986-in which Steamhead meets Jeremy Feeble for the first time.
Good; the jokes land but did we really need that much background on Steamhead? I just think the joke works better if he was just this oddball scientist.
