Background: By the time the 70's rolled around, Bruno Sammartino had decided to step aside and let someone else take over the Superstars. Who better than the team's newest recruit?
Pedro came to the Big Apple via Puerto Rico and signed up to be a cop. He did good, real good. His work on infiltration rework the book on undercover work. Bruno saw a kindred spirit in the young man and offered him a spot on the team.
So when Bruno opted to retire, Pedro had some boots to fill. He, all things considered, did a good job. he took on major crooks like Greg "the Hammer" Valentine and "Superstar" Billy Graham. He finally opted to retire when the unknown Bob Backlund took down Graham.
Pedro went back to the police force, acting more as a consultant before finally retiring around '87.
