 7-6-1991

Reseda Country Club

Announcers: Craig DeGeorge and Lou Albano

We open with a recap of David Strong (nee Sammartino) beating his father and leaving with John Tolos.

Craig and Lou Albano are solemn and grim. Craig: "Folks, we've been having constant updates on Commissioner Sammartino's condition. After the brutal assault on him last week, medics managed to get him to the local ER."

Lou almost explodes on DeGeorge. "They don't wanna here about that, they want to know what that crumbbum of a son is doing, and why isn't UWF doing anything about it?"

Craig reaches to his ear. "Owner Herb Abrams has been keeping an eye on the situation and promises a decision soon, but right now we go to Colonel Red". Red's Corner where we see the newly dubbed David Strong, decked out in a suit. John Tolos is next to him. Bob Orton and Cactus Jack are behind him, tag belts on their shoulders. The Bounty Hunter stands off the side.

Red: "Boys, it does me proud to see someone who sees what they want and goes out and gets it! Mister Strong, what are your plans next?"

David smirks and looks at the camera. "Well Colonel, I'm glad you asked. I'm new man now, no more ties to the past. So what you saw last week? That was only a preview. Now, I'm not going to cost on a name or demand anything because of something I did ten years ago. No, I promise, right here and now before you the viewing audience, that once I get my ten wins I WILL be taking the North American title. Orndorff, I don't care how much you train, how many vitamins or prays you use, I will be the next North American champ."

UWF Television title

Joshua Ben-Gurion (c) VS the Bounty Hunter

Winner: Joshua easily overpowers the Bounty Hunter throughout the match, looking like an easy win at 5 minutes, but Strong, Orton, and Cactus Jack came out at the start of the match. Orton jumps on the apron, distracting the ref while Cactus Jack smacks Joshua with a steel chair. the Bounty Hunter makes the pin at 6 and is the new TV champ.

Strong gets the microphone. "Orndorff, that was just a preview! We're getting the gold, all of it!"

UWF Women's title

Wendi Richter (c) VS Luna Vachon

Winner: Richter in 10. Fast pace with a good back and forth but in the end the champ retains. The Blackhearts help Luna to back, with her swearing vengeance the whole way.

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams VS Larry Zbyszko

Winner: Williams in 10. Williams comes in with pure power, forcing Larry to use more technical skills to try and wear him down, but it doesn't work. Dr. Death straight up knocks him out and takes the pin.

Herb Abrams comes out and reminds fans that Rampage is coming October 6th! And as a special return, Bruno Sammartino WILL be returning to in ring action for one night only! And his opponent? David Strong!
