Mortal Kombat III: Or Why I Don't Write for a Living

Disappointed by the recent MK film? Well, here's something that may do nothing at all to help that.

Our heroes have defeated Shao Khan (who was dragged off by Shang Tsung and revived, unknown to our heroes). Tsung, now a younger man, has a plan. Why not merge Earth and Outworld? Since the worlds are now one, the recent tournaments would be null and they would have to start over.

Tsung accomplishes this by bringing Queen Sindel back to life. Due to the nature of her resurrection she's a bit crazy and evil. Her bodyguard, Sheeva, is aware of this, but she is honor bound to protect the queen.

Given that the worlds merge, things go crazy. Our heroes are as follows:

Liu Kang-still the champ. He takes charge and splits our heroes into groups to save the worlds. He faces down Shang Tsung and Khan, but this time he has help.

Raiden-now powerless in this new world. He uses the last of his power to find some extra heroes and teleport our heroes to where they need to be.

Johnny Cage-now hunted by Montaro (in revenge for Goro's defeat. Not that he cares but if he can ace the guy who beat Goro? Rep made) and gets saved by Scorpion.

Sonya/Jax-Jax gets his arms upgraded after they run into cyber ninja Sektor. They get saved by Sub-Zero, who makes it clear he isn't his brother.

Kung Lao-still trying to adjust to the modern day but does a pretty good job, especially when he has to take on Cyrax, the second of the cyber ninjas.

Kitana-tracks down Mileena (who is trying to get Baraka brought back). She shows Sheeva that Khan is trying to replace the Shokan with the Centaurs and gets her to help save Sindel.

Kano-brought back to life and tries to slip away, but he runs into Kabal. Kabal used to be a Black Dragon, at least until Kano messed him up. They fight and Kano takes a spill onto a train track.

Sonya finds Nightwolf, a historian who finds himself being hunted by Smoke, the last of the cyber ninjas. Sub-Zero redeems the cyborg into fighting Chameleon (lizard ninja) while Nightwolf figures out a ritual to split the worlds.

Jax finds Stryker, the last honest and alive cop (James Remer) and they fight Khamelon (female lizard ninja) and they go to fight Khan.

Khan VS all the heroes with his enhanced power (he plans to sacrifice Sindel to make himself more powerful) Everyone gets in a hit and it is a straight up beatdown. No tricking him over the side of the Pit, no, here he gets a massive beatdown and dies when Liu Kang delivers the final blow.

The worlds gets split, Kitana gets her mom back, Raiden gets his powers back and everything's happy, right? Raiden isn't so sure. There are more realms out there and things waiting for the right time...
