Pickman's Model (1981) dir. Cathy Welch, Lurker Films
We've seen this story before, but this short from 1981 does flesh things out a bit.
Student William Thurber (Mac Williams) is studying the occult when he discovers the work of noted reclusive artist Richard Pickman (Marc Mahon). The more he studies the art and his increasingly grotesque work, the more obsessed he becomes. How does Pickman draw such vivid horrors? Is his imagination really that good?
Not bad but aside from a few new characters they really don't add that much, but then again this being one of Lovecraft's stronger tales they don't need to do that much.
