Another version that skipped my attention.
Jonathan Davis (Ingo Heise) is a young man on a quest. His father went missing some time ago, and a private detective points him to Germany. There he finds Armin Piesrke (Michael Kausch), who tells him of the Gartner family, who lived in the area some years ago.
The Gartner family farm was an isolated place until a meteor struck and Nahum (Erik Rastetter) became the talk of the village. Until the meteor suddenly faded away and the various doctors left, but it didn't totally vanish as a strange color is left. A color that drains the life out of everything, including the Gartner family...
Not bad, shot in black and white save for the color itself, Vu tells a tight story.
