Frenzy
To get this out of the way, is Frenzy red or blue? At this point, even I don't know
First, we'll look at the toy, which is definitively BLUE.
The toy began life as a Micro Change micro cassette Robo Micross. His robot mode is pretty stiff but pretty humanoid. The minicassette is nice and could easily be mistaken for the real thing. There was only one figure but he seemed cursed to only be available in either 2 packs or gift-sets. The 1986 version is a bit different though, as Hasbro replaced his die cast metal with black plastic.
According to his file card, Frenzy is a warrior and pretty blood thirsty at that. His main attack is his sonic attack, which is capable of sounds hitting 2000db, which would mean he's the single loudest thing on the planet and would pretty much liquefy any humans in front of him but that might be a too gruesome for an 80's toy line.
The comic, in which he was also BLUE, had Frenzy there at the start with #1. And that's about it, at least here in the US. He had a bigger role in the UK comics and we might have time to go over them later. He basically showed up in a lot of background shots until #39 when he was left behind and never mentioned again. He showed up again and bigger role in the Generation 2 comic, but again we'll get into that series later.
The cartoon, on the other hand, makes it clear that Frenzy is RED. Also voiced by Frank Welker. He didn't used sonic blasts, but he did use piledrivers thus making him even more like Rumble. He was there, mostly as a thug in many episode, but he just stopped appearing in the Generation One series midway through the Movie. He didn't die, he just stopped appearing.
