Winding down a bit, but there might be a question about some of the other heroes. DC's always been big on buying out other companies, so where would they be in my take on the 52?
Quality Comics (Uncle Sam, Freedom Fighters, etc.): Everyone save for Plastic Man, which still leaves us plenty of second stringers. My take would be that the Quality characters would have been active mostly in the 1940s through the 1950s.
Fawcett Comics (Captain Marvel, Minute Man, etc.): For the Shazam folks, the 1950s through the 1970s. Captain Marvel being a founder of the JLA after all.
Charlton Comics (Question, Blue Beetle, Captain Atom): 1970s through the 1980s. As far as the Question goes, Vic Sage would be the first, but an older Sage would be the one to train Rene Montoya to replace him.
Milestone Comics (Static, Icon, etc.): 1990s through present.
