We did the trilogy, so how about the rest of the Justice League series? Or least the first half.
Aquaman: The King of the Seven Seas! Really, Aquaman is a character that should be crazy awesome. Lord of Atlantis who fights pirates and wizards. So, my take? Conan under the sea. Arthur Curry, born to an exile from Atlantis and a lighthouse keeper. His mother vanished years ago, and after his father dies, Arthur goes in search of his destiny. Also to punch sharks into pirates.
Year 2: Arthur is now aware of Atlantis and they are aware of him. The nation, once powerful, is now a corrupt and dying ruin under the sea. His mother was exiled for trying to change things, and taken when they learned she had a child. Arthur fights and slays the mad king and is now king. But does he want the crown? He also encounters the exile Garth (future Aqualad) and the warrior sorceress Mera.
Year 3: Arthur is now king, but gaining a crown is different than actually ruling. So Arthur takes it upon himself to investigate these surface dwellers (actually he just wants some excitement again) and the so-called heroes. There he meets the man called Orion. Orion warns Arthur that a great evil is coming and that the heroes of Earth must join forces.
The Flash: Now this one is a bit different. Given that the Flash was one of the first legacy heroes (DC has always had that advantage over groups in this regard) so why not keep it?
Golden Age: Jay Garrick is a college student working with hard water when he gets into a lab accident. Gaining super human speed, Jay becomes the Flash of Keystone City, working from 1940 until the JSA is retired in the 1950's.
Silver Age: Barry Allen, forensic scientist for Central City is struck by lighting and exposed to chemicals, thus becoming the fastest man alive. He fights his Rogues and helps form the JLA before dying in 1985.
Bronze Age: Wally West, formerly Kid Flash, takes up the mantle for a bit before settling down with his girlfriend Linda Park. Wally is still active today, but more as an advisor to the younger heroes.
Year 1: A new Scarlet Speedster is racing back and forth between Keystone and Central. Who is it? Wally and an aged Jay try to figure out who this hero is? Or is he a hero?
Year 2: he is. Specifically he's Bart Allan, Barry's grandson...which comes as a shock to Wally to say the least. Barry and Iris didn't have children. Not yet, argues Bart. With a new Flash comes new Rogues and some old. The Shade, former foe of Jay Garrick, arrives in Central City looking to test the mantle of this new hero.
Year 3: Bart comes clean. He is the grandson of Barry, true. He also has a dire warning for the heroes of today. Darkseid is coming and in the future he'll crush most of humanity. Bart was sent back to stop or at least alter the time. Good thing too, as strange portals are opening up across the globe.
Green Lantern: Again, a similar take with the legacies, although more cosmic in scope.
Golden Age: Alan Scott is an engineer taking a trip on the first railway he built, at least until a rival blows up the track. Laying in the wreckage, Alan finds a strangely glowing lantern and inside of it, a ring. Wearing it, Alan Scott becomes the Green Lantern! He wages war against crime and corruption in Gotham City and abroad until the JSA are disbanded. Inspired by the news reporters of the time to stand up against crime and injustice, Alan gets into broadcasting, eventually becoming a media power house. He doesn't learn the truth about the ring (or his two missing children, Jade and Obsidian) until some time later, roughly around the era of...
Silver Age: Hal Jordan, test pilot, man without fear. Picked by the dying Green Lantern Abin Sur to replace him, Hal learns the truth of Alan's ring (prototype, thought lost) and fights aliens and others, going on a road trip with Green Arrow in the late 60's. Hal retires finally in 1985
Bronze Age: John Stewart and Guy Gardner fight for the title of Green Lantern, but both men are judged equal. They alternate between Earth and the Green Lantern Corps.
Year 1: Kyle Radner is the first Green Lantern picked after the crises of 1985 with a different type of ring. More lantern corps are popping up (yellow, red, etc.) and Gathet, the one Guardian who doesn't have his head up his blue backside, tries to find someone who can fight this rising force. Kyle gets the job.
Also, his girlfriend Alex eventually leaves him, mostly because of the danger of his job, not because she's stuffed into a fridge.
Year 2: The War of Colors happens, forcing Kyle off the planet for most of the year. He finds replacements in Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz, who deal with the Earth bound stuff.
Year 3: All three Lanterns are briefed on New Genesis and Apokolips, and the Guardians makes sure to order them bound to Oa, as they promised Darksied to recognize his authority and not get involved. Kyle thinks this is the dumbest thing he's ever heard and splits, Simon and Jessica follow him. On the way, they find the Forever People, runways from New Genesis. They are trying to stop the war, but can they unite the different lanterns in time? They'd better hurry, as since Kyle left, the Guardians made sure to destroy his lantern, but not ring. With only so much energy left, can the group stop the darkness?
Green Arrow: Oliver Queen was a Star City pretty boy millionaire, at least until he wrecked his yacht in the South Seas. Forced to live off the land, Oliver became the world's greatest archer. Making his way back to civilization, the Green Arrow fought injustice across the West Coast. He went on a cross country trip with Hal Jordan in the late 60's and still fights for the little guy. He married Black Canary
Year 1: Of course, Oliver is getting a bit old. His sidekick Speedy is a man now, and Oliver is busy with his son Connor Hawke (result of an old flame) taking over the mantle. Connor isn't his father though, but that doesn't mean he can't fight when it comes to that.
Year 2: Honestly, at this point I'd hire Matt Morrison (blogger, did a great pitch on Green Arrow) and have him do what he wanted.
Year 3: Connor, Speedy (street kid Mia Dearden) find themselves plunged into a war between gods. A guy and gal with bows may not seem like a fair fight, but Darkseid seems to take their being alive rather personal.
19 down, 33 to go
