In the closing of the last issue, Zarak and Optimus agree that a team up would save both their sides and come to an agreement. Shockwave then blew the entire base up. Starscream digs through the wreckage, quite pleased with himself. He's less pleased when Scorponok pops up, alive and rather annoyed at the whole being blown up deal.
Galvatron, who has been busy on Cybertron as a herald of Unicron, makes it clear he isn't as loyal as he appears...
Back on Earth, Optimus isn't as dead as he appeared but the alliance might be. He starts putting wheels in motion as he sends Kup and Hot Rod out to bring the scattered Autobots together. With Nightbeat in tow, he heads out to stop the Scorponok/Shockwave fight from leveling New York when the Neo-Knights show up.
