TFtember: The Killing Jar

"The Killing Jar", the Transformers, September 29, 1986

Before I forget, we have a character to look at. Marissa Faireborn first showed up "Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4" as the resident human ally of the Autobots. This episode strongly suggests that Marissa is in fact the daughter of GI Joe member Flint. It doesn't outright say it but it's there and thus the first major link between GI Joe and Transformers is established.

Across space, someone is kidnapping people. Marissa Faireborn of Earth (human), Ultra Magnus of Cybertron (Autobot), Cyclonus of Chaar (Decepticon), and Wreck-Gar of Junkion (Junkion) are all taken by a Quintesson.

Why? For SCIENCE! Which very little gets down as the fool flies his ship into an electron storm which proceeds to screw up the ship. Can the four of them work together before the ship is torn apart?

Decent, although honestly you could have put almost anyone in this episode. I mean, this could very easily have been Kup, Spike, Blitzwing, and I suppose Wreck-Gar is the only Junkion with a name so I suppose we'd have to keep him.

Still, not bad but for season 3 we're seeing that the bar is put lower every episode.
