Aroma of Troma: Chopper Chicks in Zombietown (1989)

Chopper Chicks in Zombietown (1989) dir. Dan Hoskins, Chelsea Partners/Troma Entertainment

Surely a nice slow paced family drama flick, right?

A group of bikers, charmingly dubbing themselves the Cycle Sluts, blow into the one-horse town of Zariah.

Dede (Jamie Rose) is the boss. She wants to whip her gals into shape, and she means WHIP. The rest are mostly looking to get away from their spouses (Billy Bob Thornton) or just looking for a good time.

Pity about the zombies.

Yup, seems the local mortician has been turning the townsfolk into flesh eating ghouls. Not to worry, he has the most high tech security in place to keep them away from the town. Shame that one lone blind kid wanders off from his stranded bus (also full of equally blind children) and opens the door. Can the Cycle Sluts rescue the kids and save the town from the undead hordes?

The title ain't lying. I mean, this is a film that tells you right off the bat what they have. Unlike some of the other films I've mentioned this one is actually put together like an actual film. Lights, cameras, and sound go a long way to make a film enjoyable.
