Shark Attack 3: Megalodon (2002) dir. David Worth, Nu Image Films
Yes, THAT film.
Somewhere in the Pacific, some divers are working on a power cable when a massive shark appears and eats one of them.
Some time later, Ben Carpenter (John Barrowman) and his buddy Esai (George Stanchev) are hunting for lobster when Ben finds a massive tooth stuck in the cable. He blogs about it, which gets the attention of history researcher Cat Stone (Jenny McShane). She knows what the tooth comes from-a megalodon!
The shark is busy, however, munching on people up and down the coast. Cat and her crew manage to tag the thing, which raises another problem. Seems the shark they encountered is only a baby. If that thing is a baby, where's mama?
Can Ben get his boss to close the beach in time? Will there be any consistency in the shark's size? Don't hold your breathe.
Funny but I doubt the makers were going for a comedy. Barrowman steals the show and yes, this is the film where we see the shark eat that guy on the jet-ski.
