The Windblown Hare

Robert McKimson, The Windblown Hare, USA 1949

Another fable fill in. This time Bugs runs afoul of the 3 Little Pigs.

The Pigs have been reading ahead in their script and they are not keen on losing their homes, however poorly made they are. So they sell the straw house to Bugs for ten bucks.

When the Big Bad Wolf blows it down, Bugs is annoyed, but he picks up a real bargain on a wooden house; which is also blown down.

So Bugs declares war on the Wolf, but is he the real enemy though?

Not bad. The plot twist is neat. I found the wolf to be a bit too dim to be a credible threat, but I liked the fourth wall breakage.
