Resident Evil 3, or Why I Don't Write for a Living

Did the first 2, so why not 3?

We open with the surviving STARS Alpha Team members flying back to the city. Nothing but static but on the radio. They land, taking a nearby helipad instead of the official one at the police station. Jill (Michelle Rodriguez) suggests they split up as something isn't right. Vickers scoffs at this and flies towards the station. Jill, Chris Redfield (Bruce Campbell) and Rebecca Chambers (Michelle Baur) all agree to go their separate ways and escape the city. Barry goes with Vickers to explain.

Jill gets to her apartment, changes clothes/gets equipment, and goes to leave when Vickers breaks in. He's freaking out, claiming a monster is after him. A giant creature (Kane Hodder), we later learn is the Nemesis, pops Vickers' head off as Jill flees.

Jill escapes and finds the city overrun with zombies. She finds three Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service members Carlos (Oded Fehr), Mikhail (Oleg Taktarov) and Nikolai (Zack Ward). Nikolai explains they were sent in to contain the situation, but now they're bugging out. They're heading to the Racoon City clock tower for evac.

They run into Nemesis again, with Mikhail slowing it down at the cost of his own life. The rest get to the tower, just in time to see the Nemesis blow it up. Jill gets bitten, but Carlos saves her.

Taking her to an abandoned hospital, Carlos leaves in her a room. He comes back and injects her with what he says is a vaccine. "Hidden lab under the city" is all he says. Noticing the thick gore he's covered in, Jill says nothing.

Carlos explains she's been out for 3 days. They have only a few hours before Umbrella bombs the area into rubble. They fight their way to the park, only to find Nikolai trying to escape the city.

He says it's nothing personal, but as a supervisor one must make difficult choices. Less team members means more money around, plus getting rid of Jill Valentine? Do you have any idea how much bread he's getting this quarter?

This does little to placate the two. Nemesis tearing the little twerp's head off does make it better. They manage to fight off the monster and find another entrance to the lab. Jill finds a railgun and finally kills Nemesis. Barry shows up in a chopper and offers them a lift. They escape as the city goes up in a fireball.
