Street Fighter: The Movie or why I don't write for a living

The 1994 Street Fighter film has been mocked by gaming fans since it came out, but again assuming I had a position in Hollywood and a time machine, how would I have done it?

First, 1972 is the time and release.

Colonel William Guile (Chuck Norris) is introduced to Inspector Chun-Li (Cheng Pei-pei) of Interpol. She's to be partner as he is tasked to infiltrate the upcoming marital arts tournament held on the private island of M. Bison (Christopher Lee), Shadaloo boss and crime lord.

Guile is very motivated, as Bison killed his partner Charlie (Charles Bronson in flashback). Chun-Li is too, as he killed her father. Arriving on the island they spot fighters Ryu (Sonny Chiba) and Ken (John Saxon), both of whom are mowing through the brackets.

Ryu is motivated by fighting. He simply wants to prove himself the best marital artist around. Ken just wants the money.

Among the fighters is egotistical actor Fei Long (Bruce Lee), who wants to prove his own fighting style is the best. Zangief (Andre the Giant) is a wrestler fighting for Mother Russia

Bison is looking for fighters to fill out the ranks of Shadaloo. He rules over it with the other Kings; Balrog (Jim Kelly)-disgraced boxer, Sagat (Bolo Yeung)-former kickboxing champ who wants to fight Ryu, and Vega (Mil Mascaras)-masked matador.

Ryu fights Fe Long and wins while Ken and Zangief fight to a draw. Chun-Li takes out Vega while Ryu beats Sagat. Guile fights Balrog and then the 3 of them confront Bison in a drawn out battle that ends with the temple crashing down.
