Re-Write the Book: The Invasion, part 2

Ok, so what's the endgame?

Short term, Shane takes over Smackdown with WCW roster and anybody who jumped ship. The name is kept, because at this point Nitro was pretty much poisoned as a brand. Rename the titles to WWE. Heavyweight, United States, Tag Team, and the Cruiserweight. Swap them out every once in a while during the draft.

As for ECW, they would be driven off the air, but Paul Heyman comes back and announces a mystery backer (Eric Bischoff) who's got ECW back in the black.

Not sure if they'd have a TV show as they'd be the WWE's developmental territory (like Ohio Valley or NXT). It would be the place for the up and comers to learn their craft and rehab the older guys. The ECW mainstays could stay of course.

I'd also bring in the NWO (classic, with Hogan, Nash, and Hall). McMahon would have them as his brain trust and because they destroyed WCW once before. He'd make the Rock join, but he'd quit; possibly during a pay per view. Maybe turn Hogan face in the process, which would make sense if they did it at Madison Square Garden.
