The Master, or why I don't write for TV

Did you know the Master has been released on DVD?

The short lived 80's show about ninjas and Van Patten's may not have been the best show but, in proof of my warped mind I think I could have done something with the idea.

Okasa (Sho Kosugi) is a ninja. He has been living in the mountains on Japan, honing his skills when he receives word from America. His daughter, thought to have died in a car crash with her mother, is alive.

Naturally he hops on the first plane to States but instead all he finds is McAllister (Lee Van Cleef), a bounty hunter who's also looking for his daughter. It seems Ms. Kennedy, as she calls herself, fell in with the 'Organization' and split with a large sum of money. McAllister has been hired to bring the money, and the girl, back-dead or alive.

Okasa is a bit put off by this and soon finds himself on the run from the trigger happy McAllister as well as other members of the Organization which is a vast empire. Every week Okasa would hit a town, find a problem and use his ninja skills to beat the tar out of various guest stars.

In the end, we finally find Ms. Kennedy (Cynthia Rothrock). She actually is Okasa's daughter, but she summoned dear old dad mostly to act as a shield for her while she got the money and got out of the states.

Three way fight ensures. Who will be left standing?
