The stars are right and it's time to slink back to the gloomy New England countryside for the Summer of Love(Craft).
Young Howard Lovecraft (Kiefer O'Reilly) has returned from his previous two adventures, but there is a surprise waiting for him back home. A half forgotten cousin, named HP (Jeffery Combs) has arrived.
Yeah, he's actually Howard from the future. He has traveled back to bring grim tidings. It seems adorable pet Spot (Sean Patrick O'Reilly) is in fact Cthulhu. What can young Howard do?
Well, the cast is good. Mark Hamill returns as Dr. Armitage and the rest of the voice cast does a serviceable job but the animation does no one any favors. The characters move better but the background gives one the impression of watching a low rent PlayStation One game.
