"Beans, Steam, and Automobiles, part 2" Ninja High School#9 (February 1989) with credits to Ben Dunn (story/art), Clem Robins (letters)
Leeana is putting the moves on Jeremy. He tries to be diplomatic about it, but Leeana drops the sweetness pretty fast. She makes it clear he WILL consummate a diplomatic relation and he WILL like it.
At the park, Hitomi and Fujiko run into each other. Realizing they've been had, they figure out only person could have done this...
The Hitch Squad, finally out of detention, tracks Feeble. Gearing up, they rush to rescue their target.
Meanwhile, Leenan is making it pretty clear that if she can't have him, then she will make sure Asrial can't have him either. She pauses to gloat, giving the Hitch Squad enough time to switch Jeremy with a dummy. The squad doesn't get too far before Leeana figures it out. Hitomi and Fujiko confront her, but she easily blasts them aside.
We have a slight aside as we get why Hitomi and Ichi have such a frosty relationship and more backstory. On the squad's ship, Jeremy comes to, just in time for the ship to be attacked.
Back at the school, Steamhead and Beanhead have gone over their calculations and discovered a sinister oversight. Seems every time their machine is used, a random effect is generated elsewhere. Hitomi, meanwhile, has assembled the Girl Commandoes with Fujiko and rush back to the school.
Which is now crawling with Xenomorphs.
While the rest of the Girl Commandoes slice and dice the copyright infringers, Hitomi confronts Leeana. She does pretty good, especially with her yo-yo, but Leeana has the advantage in pure power, which she is about use to the full effect until they get interrupted by...
Princess Asrial?
Good continuation from the previous issue. The plot is moving at a brisk pace but not fast enough to lose us. The cameos are good but not overpowering.
